A day of building, creativity, problem-solving, snacks, and hopefully some pretty cool projects — for high school students in Regina.
A hackathon is an event where people team up (or fly solo) and spend a set amount of time building something — an app, a game, a website, a weird little tool, whatever. You don't need to finish something perfect. You need to build something, learn a bunch along the way, and show it off at the end.
Check in, grab a name tag, and find a team — or come with one already.
Have a project in mind, or grab one of ours. Mentors are around to help you scope it.
Code, design, tinker, debug, snack, repeat. Mentors circulate the whole time.
Demo what you built to the room. Doesn't need to be perfect — it needs to exist.
Designed specifically for high school students.
Built for young people in and around Regina.
Beginners are genuinely, actually welcome.
